Dr. Darren. I. Booi, MD, PhD

Dr. D. I. Booi, MD, PhD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon in the Netherlands with a special interest in facial rejuvenation surgery and advanced skin resurfacing techniques. His practice focuses on achieving natural and harmonious results through a combination of deep plane facelift surgery, deep plane neck lift procedures, facial fat grafting, and laser skin resurfacing.

Dr. Booi graduated from Maastricht University Medical School and completed his PhD research on microcirculation in DIEP flap breast reconstruction. In addition to his clinical work, he has a strong passion for surgical education and anatomy. He is actively involved in the training of future plastic surgeons through the residency program at Maastricht University Medical Center, where he contributes to resident education and anatomical teaching.

As Co-Founder and Medical Director of MOOI Clinic in the Netherlands, Dr. Booi plays a leading role in the strategic development of the practice and is responsible for driving clinical innovation. He continuously evaluates and implements the latest technologies, treatment protocols, and evidence-based techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient care and surgical excellence.

To further refine his expertise in facial rejuvenation surgery, Dr. Booi has trained with internationally recognized facial plastic surgeons and continuously incorporates the latest advances into his practice. His surgical philosophy combines a detailed understanding of facial anatomy with a commitment to preserving individual character and achieving elegant, natural-looking results.

As a faculty Dr. Booi will share practical insights into facial rejuvenation surgery, laser resurfacing, surgical anatomy, patient selection, complication management, and techniques that optimize both aesthetic outcomes and patient safety.
